Warm Springs is the location of Little White House, the vacation home of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. There he developed programs that were a part of the New Deal. President Roosevelt built pools that became a part of his therapy for polio. A state park has been named in honor of President Roosevelt. In addition to the Roosevelt national historic sites, Warm Springs also has a regional fisheries center and aquarium.
